We’re kicking off the 12 Days of Facecard tomorrow with a $5 Preward to Overstock.com. Make sure you have a balance of at least $10 to be eligible to receive great Prewards during the 12 Days of Facecard.

With the holidays drawing near, Facecard is spreading the cheer to all of its card members by kicking off “The 12 Days of Facecard” on December 1st.  During the 12 Days of Facecard, Facecard will be giving away Prewards to some of its favorite retailers.

Everyone deserves to be a winner. That’s why all card members with a minimum balance of $10 will receive Prewards on 4 of the 12 days. On the other days, Facecard will randomly select one lucky member to receive a $50 Preward.

Note to all Facecard members: Make sure that you have a balance of at least $10 to join in the holiday fun.

Set a budget for your holiday shopping. Determine who you will be buying gifts for and how much you want to allocate for each individual. Once your budget is set, add that amount to your Facecard and rest assured that you will not get carried away and overspend this holiday season.

If your Facecard balance is running low and you still have several presents to buy, use some of our affordable gift giving ideas:

• Make something such as baked goods, mixed CDs, art, or stationary.
• Make your gift an activity. Treat your friend, relative, or co-worker to lunch, coffee, or the movies.
• Make a donation to a cause in honor of someone.
• Send your friends e-cards like the “Elf Yourself” e-card.
• Give a gift of a service such as babysitting, walking your friend’s dog, making dinner, or shoveling snow.
• Arrange your friend’s photos and put them in an album.
• Use your digital photo memorabilia to make a calendar, coffee mug, or even a deck of cards with pictures of you and your friends and family.
• Be the designated driver for a night.
• Send your friend off with tickets to the movies while you take down their holiday decorations.
• Embellish gifting with the packaging and presentation of the gift. Think nice ribbons and gift wrapping.
