Rather than waiting for your tax refund in the mail, have it automatically deposited into your Facecard account for free. Just follow the three easy steps below.

1. Complete your tax form.
2. Select to direct deposit your refund “To an existing reloadable prepaid card.”
3. In the Refund section, enter the following information:

• For routing number, enter 073972181.
• For account number, enter 613 and then the last 10 digits of your Facecard number. Example: If your card number is 1234 5678 9012 3456, you would enter 6137890123456.

You can use this information whether you are filing your taxes online or by mail.

Please note that the maximum balance for Facecard is $2,500. If your tax refund amount plus your current balance exceeds $2,500, you will be unable to deposit the tax refund into your Facecard account.

You can check the status of your refund online by going to www.irs.gov and clicking “Where’s my Refund?”  You can also check the status of your refund by phone by calling 800-829-1954.

Facecard is excited to announce that it has joined the MasterCard® rePower network. The MasterCard rePower network allows you to easily add money to your Facecard at any of the thousands of participating retailer locations throughout the U.S. Better yet, your money is immediately available for you to spend anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted.

There are two methods to reload your Facecard, depending on which the retailer supports:

• The Card Swipe Method — At locations that support this method, your card is swiped and the load amount is entered at the register. Your cash load will be instantly available.

• The Green Dot MoneyPak Method — At locations that use Green Dot MoneyPaks, simply purchase the MoneyPak in the amount of the load you want to make. Then follow the instructions on the MoneyPak to complete the load to your card. Your cash load will be instantly available.

Last week, we implemented a simple and low cost fee structure. The monthly membership fee is $3.00 per month, but this fee will be waived if in a given month you:

• Load your card account via Direct Deposit
• Load/spend a combined total of at least $100

To set up direct deposit and have your monthly membership fee waived, log into your online Facecard account, select “Set up Direct Deposit” from the Load Funds tab, and follow the instructions provided.

It’s easy and it’s a savings of $36 per year!
