Text BI to get your balance in seconds

Have you ever been in line at a checkout counter and thought to yourself “I hope I have enough money on my card to cover my purchase”? With Facecard, you can save yourself the worry and simply text BI (for Balance Inquiry) to 64823 to receive your balance in seconds. To make this even easier on yourself, save 64823 in your phone as “Facecard” and you won’t have to remember the number.
Please note: In order to use this service, you must first log into your online account, select “Mobile Access Subscription” from the My Profile tab, and follow the instructions provided. We do not charge a fee for this service. Standard text messaging rates apply. Supported carriers are AT&T, Verizon Wireless & U.S. Cellular.
Allowance made easy with Facecard
May 24th, 2010With Facecard’s simple (and not to mention free) Allowance Feature, you can create an allowance schedule and money will be added to your child’s account automatically based on the frequency you select.
If you have already registered your bank account, simply follow these 4 easy steps to schedule allowances:
- Log into your account and select “Bank to Card” from the Load Funds tab.
- Select your bank account from the “Bank Account” drop down menu and the transfer detail fields will automatically populate with your bank information.
- Select your teen’s account from the “Transfer Card account” drop down menu.
- Select your desired transfer frequency from the “Transfer Frequency” drop down menu.
If at any point you’d like to cancel the recurring transfer or edit the amount, select “Transfer History” from the Give Money tab. Click on “Recurring Transfer History” and you will see the option to view, edit, or delete the transfer.
If you have not registered your bank account, you must do so before utilizing the Allowance Feature. To register your bank account, select “Bank to Card” from the Load Funds drop down menu and click where it says “Click here to register your bank account” (see below). It costs $2.50 to register your bank account but every load from your bank account thereafter will be completely free.

Here’s how to easily pay back roommates and friends:
Step 1: Log into your Facecard account, go to “Give Money”, and search for your friend using their email address or last name.
Step 2: Tell us how much you would like to transfer.
Step 3: 
Verify that the recipient and amount are correct, click submit, and your money is instantly sent.
It’s that easy! Try it for yourself.

Load your Facecard with your credit or debit card for less
May 17th, 2010One of our key values is “Members First.” With this value in mind, we made the decision to lower the convenience fees associated with credit/debit card loading. While we offer free loading options (as listed below), funds are immediately available with credit/debit card loading which has its obvious benefits.
The new convenience fees are as follows:
